Welcome to Trading Journal! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trading Journal app ("the App") operated by Sedlacek Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

1. Use of the App

The App is intended to help users track and analyze their trading activity. By using the App, you agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes.
  • Not engage in any activity that could harm, disrupt, or interfere with the functionality of the App or other users' experience.
  • Provide accurate and truthful information when required (e.g., during account creation).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

2. User Accounts

2.1 Authentication

The App uses Sign in with Apple as the only method for authentication. By using this feature, you agree to Apple's terms and policies in addition to these Terms.

2.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

The App may offer subscription plans managed via RevenueCat. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Payments are processed through your Apple ID account.
  • Subscription fees, renewal terms, and cancellation policies are governed by the App Store's terms and policies.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription via your Apple ID settings.

4. Intellectual Property

The App and its content (excluding user-generated data) are the intellectual property of Sedlacek Solutions LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes only.

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.
  • Use the App's content or trademarks without prior written permission.

5. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sedlacek Solutions LLC shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App.
  • Any data loss, interruption, or errors caused by third-party services (e.g., Amplitude, Insight Hub, RevenueCat, Supabase).

6. Data Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services such as:

  • Amplitude for analytics.
  • Insight Hub for error and performance monitoring.
  • RevenueCat for subscription management.
  • Supabase for authentication and database services.

We are not responsible for the functionality, availability, or accuracy of these third-party services.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top will indicate the most recent changes.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
